Some great things from 2021:
Despite the obvious events of the year, there were also MANY positive experiences! 2021 was the year of prophetic connection and growth.
One exciting event of 2021 was the "Re-wedding" of my cousin! He and his wife were forced to cancel their wedding, short-notice, when lockdowns began in 2020. They went ahead with the marriage, just not with the planned guests and party.
So, almost 12 months later, they successfully had their "Re-wedding". The renewing of vows ceremony with all the originally planned bells and whistles. The stunning bride walked down the aisle as she'd originally planned. It was so beautiful! I think everybody felt emotional because of the journey it took to get there. I'm so glad they were able to have their long-awaited-for day before lockdowns returned!
In January, I was able to join the Australian Prophetic Summit online. They are based in Brisbane, and this year, many couldn't attend physically, due to border closures. I was so blessed by the sessions I joined. I've never been to a prophetic summit like this. There's an awesome electricity stirred up in hearts and souls when prophetic people connect. I'm already registered for 2022!
At the top of my list of trusted prophetic voices is American Pastor, Jennifer Eivaz.
I've been following Pastor Jennifer for years, and in 2021 I was led to join her week-long Facebook group, "Australian Prophetic Challenge". (A new FREE AUS/NZ "Word of Knowledge Challenge" begins Jan 3-7, 2022. Anybody can join! https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/eiBDXYM )
This led me to join her online Australian/New Zealand Prophetic Company (APC). It was encouraging, challenging, interesting... I met some amazing, like-minded people from around Australia and NZ (& surrounds). When the waves around me felt wild and unsettled, the people who made up this group were my calm.
I felt truly understood and accepted. THIS is the kind of community my heart had been yearning for. I was confident in my gifts, but knew I could grow far beyond my current level...and this group encouraged that. My gifts were stretched in new ways. My hunger for spiritual knowledge was fed, and I was able to delve deeper into areas of understanding I couldn't share with others. It was a safe learning environment. I've loved every minute with this community! I'm excited to continue in the new year!
Adding to the APC, I completed a few online courses run by Jennifer Eivaz.
"The Mantle of the Writing Sword 2.0", and "Awaken the Dreamscape". If you are interested in these topics, and have a few hours to spare, these online courses are available to purchase - search Jennifer Eivaz on Facebook or via a search engine.
Work was also a blessing! Not only did we keep our jobs throughout the lockdowns, we were blessed with connection and encouragement. We gave so much, mentally and physically to those in our care, and each other. We suffered, endured, encouraged and overcame TOGETHER. We were awarded the company's "Team of the Year", which was the cherry on top of a challenging year. Others acknowledged our dedication and flexibility around constantly changing covid guidelines.
I was also blessed to connect with new people God brought into my life. Some were distantly connected, and became more closely connected. Before lockdowns returned, I also reconnected with old friends. It was the right time. Our connections were different, deeper... God-driven. Our lives had gone in different directions, but now it was time to reconnect and realise we have more in common now than in the past. Some of these people knew me in the early days of discovering my discerning gifts. They didn't share my understanding then, but in 2021 we connected on THAT level! I loved catching up and having discussions about the prophetic - which we couldn't have 15-20 years ago. Despite the sadness and loss, God has really blessed me in 2021.
I end this year with the same hopes and dreams of previous years... But I know I am entering the new year a better version of myself. Here's to continued growth in 2022!
Put on your seatbelts! 🦋
